CHABI CHIC
Located in: Morocco
Artisans at Chabi Chic work hard to preserve a tradition that has been passed down through generations and that is facing competition in today’s environment with automated mass production. The pottery is hand-molded and hand-painted from the beginning of the process until the end. The artisans use recycled glass to make the collection of glassware. The beautiful bags are handwoven using sustainably sourced materials. For the woven glassware, artisans carefully braid and weave raffia fibers and blow on the glass to create its unique shape. Chabi Chic is committed to protecting Moroccan culture, preserving beautiful traditions and techniques, ethically creating products from natural materials, and improving the quality of the artisans’ lives.

I recently moved into my first house & one of the things me and my boyfriendwere very conscious of was that we wanted our home to be filled with things we love but also have a story. I came across The Little Market and instantly fell in love with the ethos and style! Not only does the messaging behind the mission statement match our values, but knowing that we are helping making an impact brought such a huge smile to our faces. Our Farmer's Markets have just recently opened up, and I cannot tell you the joy I have when I get asked about where my Palm Market Basket came from. As a Baker and Food Blogger, I absolutely love knowing that everything in my photos can show love an compassion. I can't wait to fill our home with even more pieces from The Little Market.
