Founded by women to empower women, The Little Market is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to poverty alleviation. We practice fair trade principles, and artisans have access to fair, living wages as well as essential resources including literacy workshops, business training, and healthcare. Women are often able to balance family and economic responsibilities while advancing educational opportunities for their children beyond primary school. Every purchase from The Little Market supports meaningful income for the artisans and their families.
A WORLD of CHANGE
We ethically source products made by individuals who are underrepresented in the workforce — including refugees, survivors of domestic violence, people with disabilities, and women transitioning out of homelessness.
Thank you for supporting The Little Market and sharing in our vision for a better world. All sales revenue and donations generated are retained within The Little Market. Any surpluses are used to ethically purchase product and expand our reach. We are proud members of the Fair Trade Federation and the Alliance for Artisan Enterprise.
