moms we love

featuring ELSA COLLINS

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating all the caregivers in our lives. For The Little Market, that means highlighting a few of the moms on our Council that support our mission every day. We’re excited to introduce you to four moms making an impact, not only with The Little Market, but in their own families and communities.

Meet our first mom, Elsa Collins, who wrote a letter to her children that inspires us all to be activists in ways that are meaningful to us

Elsa was raised in the U.S. and Mexico. Her experience has shaped her dedication to creating awareness about the injustices happening at the border and within marginalized communities across the U.S. As she reflects back on 2020, Elsa writes to her three multiracial children about their hard conversations together and how they pushed her to advocate more fiercely for issues affecting children everywhere.

Elsa Collins is the co-founder of This is About Humanity, a community dedicated to raising awareness about separated and reunified families and children at the U.S.-Mexico border and advocating for human rights and safety. Through our partnership, we created special edition candles and totes. 50% of each purchase will be donated to the This Is About Humanity Foundation.
