Our sisal baskets are woven by more than 250 skilled artisan women between the ages of 25 and 90 in villages surrounding Mount Kasigau in Kenya. They work in collaborative groups, supporting one another while weaving these baskets, maintaining their land, and taking care of their families. With a sustainable income, women have been able to participate in household decision-making processes on how the money should be spent
