SHIPPING

Shipping time depends on where we are shipping to. We ship from California so orders along the West Coast take approximately 1-2 days. Orders in the southern states and mid-west take approximately 2-3 days and orders to the East Coast take approximately 5 business days.

Orders received by 12pm Pacific Time will be shipped on the same day. Orders received after 12pm Pacific Time will be shipped the following day.

Orders are shipped via UPS Standard Shipping or through US Postal Service. UPS does not ship to PO boxes. Please provide a home or business address for us to ship to.

RETURNS

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase or fair trade gift, please contact us before mailing products back at orders@thelittlemarket.com. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws. Shipping charges are nonrefundable, and return shipping fees may apply. A 10% restocking fee will apply. Returns are accepted within 30 days of the date that you received your order.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for us to receive your return and process your request. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for the cost of the product plus taxes. If the item was a gift, we will issue store credit for the return. Unless your order arrived damaged, shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.

Wakami fosters economic initiatives in rural communities in Guatemala through fair trade with the mission to create income-generating opportunities that transform lives. The organization serves as a bridge, connecting artisans in impoverished, remote areas with larger marketplaces. Ninety percent of the 550 artisans are women who are able to work from home while caring for their families. Wakami seeks to provide a support network and makes available organic gardens, solar energy supplies and water filters, as well as business training programs for their artisan partners.

Guatemala, the “land of the forests” is an alive and ancestral country whose history dates from four thousand years ago when the Mayan civilization emerged. Its legacy is still evident in its extraordinary cultural richness, which is reflected in the colorful handicraft markets and regional costumes, its hospitality, and the beauty of the landscapes that frame the volcanoes, lakes, rivers, and mountains. Today 21 different ethnic groups of Mayan, Ladinos, Garifunas, and Xincas have all contributed to Guatemalan customs and traditions.
