HANDMADE IN THE UNITED STATES

Spread love and light with a beautifully fragrant candle, hand-poured with a coconut-soy wax blend. Once the wax has burned through, the glass jar can be repurposed as a planter, storage container, and beyond.

Each candle is crafted in small batches by women who have resettled as refugees in the United States. They earn fair, dignified wages, work in a safe and collaborative environment with opportunities to grow their skills, and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Chamomile Handmade Hand-Poured Glass Candle

DETAILS

  • Approximately 3 1/4" in diameter x 4 1/8" tall
  • Approximately 10 ounces of wax
  • Burn time: Up to 70 hours
  • Material: Recyclable glass vessel made in the U.S.
  • Fragrance features the herbal blend of fresh, mellow, and soothing chamomile with a hint of sweetness.
  • Coconut-soy wax blend with a pure cotton wick. Premium fragrances based on essential oils.
  • Vegan, phthalate-free, Prop 65 compliant, and not tested on animals
  • With the beauty of handmade, small-batch items, we celebrate that no two pieces are exactly the same. Please note you may notice variations in size, color, and design.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Let candle burn completely until the wax is liquid across the surface during every use to avoid tunneling. Trim wick occasionally.
  • When our candles are exposed to temperature changes, sometimes the wax will pull away from the glass jar while in other spots, it continues to adhere. This is commonly referred to as ”wax spots”. Once the candles have been lit, the wax will become warm and fully set into the glass jar again.
  • Caution: Never leave burning candle unattended. Keep away from children and flammable items.

PROSPERITY CANDLE
Located in: United States
Based in Massachusetts, social enterprise Prosperity Candle invests in women to escape conflict and help end poverty. The women are entrepreneurs who have recently resettled from refugee camps. Candle making is a business a woman can start and expand in the safety of her own home with local materials, a critical element at times of unrest. They carefully hand-pour the wax in small batches; it is a clean-burning mixture of a coconut-soy wax blend. Lastly, they will package the candle, including their signed names on the bottom of the candles they create.

My daughter loves her new candle.

I gave this candle to my daughter, who's very particular about the scent of her candles. Needless to say, she loves her new candle and couldn't stop waxing rhapsodic about how lovely it smells. That made this mom very happy and sure to purchase more Chamomile candles from the little market, along with baskets, glassware, vases, etc., etc. Thank you!
