This hand-poured, clean-burning candle features a fragrance of palo santo and patchouli — bringing a welcoming, earthy aroma to any room of the home.

Our candles are made in small batches by women who resettled as refugees in the United States. They earn living wages and develop their skill sets while creating a brighter future for themselves and their families.

DETAILS

  • Approximately 4 1/8" tall x 3 1/4" diameter
  • 10 ounces of wax
  • Burn time: Up to 70 hours
  • Recyclable glass vessel made in the U.S.
  • Vegan, phthalate-free, Prop 65 compliant, and not tested on animals.
  • As with all handmade items, variations will occur.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Let candle burn completely until the wax is liquid across the surface during every use to avoid tunneling. Trim wick occasionally.
  • Caution: Never leave burning candle unattended. Keep away from children and flammable items.

MATERIALS

  • Recyclable glass vessel made in the U.S.
  • Vegan, phthalate-free, Prop 65 compliant, and not tested on animals.
  • Coconut-soy wax blend with a pure cotton wick. Premium fragrances based on essential oils.

WAX SPOTS DISCLAIMER

  • Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using a clean-burning mixture of a phthalate-free coconut-soy wax blend and a pure cotton wick.
  • When our candles are exposed to temperature changes, sometimes the wax will pull away from the glass jar while in other spots, it continues to adhere. This is commonly referred to as ”wax spots”.
  • Once the candles have been lit, the wax will become warm and fully set into the glass jar again.

PROSPERITY CANDLE
Located in: United States
Based in Massachusetts, social enterprise Prosperity Candle invests in women to escape conflict and help end poverty. The women are entrepreneurs who have recently resettled from refugee camps. Candle making is a business a woman can start and expand in the safety of her own home with local materials, a critical element at times of unrest. They carefully hand-pour the wax in small batches; it is a clean-burning mixture of a coconut-soy wax blend. Lastly, they will package the candle, including their signed names on the bottom of the candles they create.

I gave this as a gift, but when I was purchasing it for a friend, I wanted it SO badly for myself. The smell was incredible, and the friend said the candle is AMAZING! Little Market has so many candle scents and ways to customize the aesthetics of their candles- highly recommend!
