Made by DWC
Founded by the Downtown Women’s Center of Los Angeles, Made by DWC was created to break the cycle of chronic unemployment and homelessness. The products are created by DWC program participants in collaboration with local artists. The product design and development workshops provide the women with social and vocational skills in an empowering environment where women rebuild self-esteem, discover talents, and develop skills.
Our exclusive bath bombs were developed by The Little Market and are hand-mixed by artisans at the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles. These bath bombs embody a harmonious combination of ingredients including baking soda, Himalayan salt, and witch hazel. The artisans mix the carefully measured ingredient ratios to reach the perfect consistency. The mixture is then shaped into individual spheres. After air drying, each bath bomb is individually hand-wrapped with papier-mâché. We are thrilled to work with the hardworking women at Downtown Women’s Center and to share eight bath bombs in our collection — lavender, chamomile, rose, orange, lemon, vanilla, peppermint, and coconut.

These many layers of diversity are reflected in the vast variety of artistic styles and hand-craft work. American artisans work with traditional craft materials and processes such as woodworking, textiles, metalworking, glassblowing, ceramics, etc.
