Add the final touch to your table décor with this cotton table runner. Dyed with natural indigo, it presents the perfect pop of color for your gatherings.

This runner is handwoven on a traditional backstrap loom and takes approximately 8 to 9 hours to complete. It features beautifully dyed jaspe (ikat) fabric with the design of corn, the most significant crop for the Maya population.

Each purchase supports women weavers across different communities in the western and northern highlands of Guatemala. The women work hard to preserve their culture while earning fair wages and supporting their families.

  • Care instructions: Hand-wash only in cold water and line dry. To avoid color transfer, wash separately the first few times.

Mayan Hands works with women weavers across different communities in the western and northern highlands of Guatemala. Many of them previously had limited access to educational opportunities. Mayan Hands creates transparent, fair trade relationships with artisans, helping them create products that combine traditional techniques with the modern market. The women work hard to preserve their culture while earning fair wages and supporting their families. To make these textiles, they honor traditional weaving techniques and hand-dye fabric.
