CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Hand-wash in cold water and with a mild detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach. Soak for 3 to 5 minutes. Do not twist, wring, or scrub. Pat excess water. Reshape and lay flat to dry.

ARTESANIA SORATA
Located in: Bolivia
Since its inception in 1978, Artesania Sorata has provided dignified work for underserved communities in Bolivia. Artisans create each product by hand using environmentally conscious material including natural dyes made from local ingredients. Artesania Sorata supports adult literacy and health programs as well as creativity workshops in state children’s homes and a children’s hearing program. Each artisan has a unique style, and often adds embroidered patterns inspired by traditional weavings, geometric symbols, animals, or birds.
