MEET THE ARTISAN
BASHA
Located in: Bangladesh
Women at Basha create one-of-a-kind kantha quilts from repurposed cotton saris. These women, many of whom are at-risk and survivors of human sex trafficking, are resilient artisans that preserve a hand-stitching technique.
