Founded in 1997, Naguska seeks to create sustainable job opportunities for artisans in Peru, increasingly for women knitters and indigenous women in rural areas. These skilled artisan women can work from home while taking care of their families and household responsibilities. They have access to workshops, training, and technical support. The local materials and techniques used to create products like these stuffed animals have been inherited across generations of artisans.
