CRAFT BOAT

Social enterprise Craft Boat works with artisans who recycle discarded cotton textiles from the garment industry to create innovative products. The technique of handmade papermaking has been passed down through generations in India. The quality and the texture of the materials set them apart and make them incredibly special. Each of these table linens is naturally dyed with indigo dye, which has been used for generations in India and is derived from trees that are native to the country. These colors are transferred to textiles, and the artisans fold and tie them to form beautiful patterns. In the final stages, the textiles are stitched together to completion. It takes approximately one to two hours to create the product.
