Handwoven with locally sourced recycled iron and sustainable hogla leaves. To create these baskets, they clean the leaves, set them to dry, spray them with water, and carefully weave them around a frame. Each piece takes an average of 15 to 17 hours to create from start to finish, with two artisans working together. Through this work, they earn fair wages, support their families, have access to essential training and healthcare, and can send their children to school.
