They practice time-honored weaving, crocheting, and braiding techniques with locally sourced materials. Artisans earn fair wages, support their families and their children’s schooling, and further develop their skills.

RAZAFINDRABE COLLECTIONS
Located in: Madagascar
Social enterprise Razafindrabe Collections works with artisans in Madagascar, the majority of whom are women. Most of these women have multiple children and have not previously had access to a formal education. Through their work, they have access to a sustainable income and skill development opportunities. The artisans practice intricate weaving techniques using eco-conscious materials including raffia and aravola. With a commitment to the community at-large, Razafindrabe Collections also supports the local primary school with basic supplies and donates 10 percent of its profits to the lunch program.
