Every purchase supports artisans in Madagascar as they attain a sustainable income and skill development opportunities. The artisans, who are primarily women, practice generations-old weaving and crocheting techniques with eco-conscious materials. Prior to crafting baskets and bags, most of the artisans lived below the poverty line and earned less than a dollar per day.

RAZAFINDRABE COLLECTIONS
Located in: Madagascar
Social enterprise Razafindrabe Collections works with artisans in Madagascar, the majority of whom are women. Most of these women have multiple children and have not previously had access to a formal education. Through their work, they have access to a sustainable income and skill development opportunities. The artisans practice intricate weaving techniques using eco-conscious materials including raffia and aravola. With a commitment to the community at-large, Razafindrabe Collections also supports the local primary school with basic supplies and donates 10 percent of its profits to the lunch program.
