The Little Market's soaking salts and sugar scrubs have been hand-blended at nonprofit social enterprise Bright Endeavors, which supports young mothers from under-resourced communities in Chicago. Through a job training program, strong women are equipped with career tools, professional development, and a life-changing means to succeed in the workforce. They are empowered to build a bright career path, raise strong families, and create loving homes and communities.
To make soaking salts, artisans hand-crush pink Himalayan salt using a mortar and pestle. Next, they add essential oils, dried flowers, and other natural ingredients to create the desired fragrance. All the ingredients are combined, then bottled and sealed until ready for use.
